The Wealden Consultations Diary helps you to find out more about consultations that Wealden is planning or which you are able to have your say on now. It also stores completed consultations from 2009 onwards, so that you can see the results and what suggested improvements we have been able to introduce.
Take a look at the featured consultations below, or click the 'Search' button to search all consultations in the directory.
This consultation is about the changes that the Council and the Planning Inspector are each proposing to the Core Strategy to make it suitable for adoption as the development plan for Wealden.
The Localism Act requires Local Authorities (with stock) and housing associations to produce a tenancy policy. We are consulting on the Council's Draft Policy.
The Council's housing Allocations policy has recently been reviewed and there are some important changes being proposed which will affect some applicants.
The draft policy is out now for public consultation until 6th January 2012 and we would like your views on the proposed changes. The most significant changes are around local connection, the idea of giving additional priority for those contributing to their community, and changes to the Parish Lettings Policy.
Findings were limited because of the response rate, but include views on the level of priority to be given to people with medical conditions, a local connection and who contribute to the community.
