Community Help Points
What are community help points?
Community help points are drop-in advice centres situated in Council buildings and libraries.
They are open during normal office hours and provide advice on a wide range of topics such as benefits, housing, council tax and community safety.
Their friendly staff work with public and voluntary sector organisations including the County Council, district and borough councils, health services, the police and fire brigade. Each community help point provides free access to Internet sites of partnership organisations.
