Polling Places Review 2007
Under the Electoral Administration Act 2006, all district councils are required to undertake a review of polling districts, polling places and access arrangements. This process has to be completed by 31 December 2007 and must be completed every 4 years.
The 2007 review has now finished and the polling districts and polling places were approved by Council on 5 December 2007. A list of the polling districts and polling places can be viewed

Polling District = area created by the division of a constituency, ward or parish
Polling Place = the building or area in which polling stations will be selected by the Returning Officer
Polling Station = the room of building where the poll takes place.
