Asset management

It is a requirement of all District and Borough Councils in England to produce an Asset Management Plan (AMP) as from 31st July 2001.

The Wealden District Council AMP was submitted and the Department of Environment, Transport & the Regions (DETR) graded the plan in the "Good" category. As from 31st July 2002 this Council is no longer required to submit the Plan to the DETR annually.

However it is still a requirement to update the Plan on an annual basis.
