C.R.O.W.N
(Composting and Recycling our Waste Now)
Crown is a segregated waste collection service which has been in operation sinceJune 1998, when 1,000 properties in Uckfield trialed the scheme. The service has since been expanded and now covers over 37,000 properties (approximately two thirds of the district) in the main towns within the Wealden district.
Crown allows residents to compost and recycle a wide range of materials, which Wealden have started to expand on since the introduction of the scheme.
