Wealden walks

Wealden District Council, with the help of each of the 42 parishes in the area and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has established the Wealden Walks. Using over 150 miles of the existing public rights of way network, some of which was previously underused, we have provided a means of viewing and understanding Wealdens natural and historic landscapes. The walks have also been arranged to incorporate links with the public transport network, both bus and rail.

There are 20 Wealden Walks in total varying from 4 to 12 miles in length, with at least one passing through every parish.

The complete colour guide of the Wealden Walks can be purchased from the Council Office receptions at Crowborough and Hailsham, most village shops, and the leisure centres at a cost of £3.00. The guide contains information on the natural and historic landscapes within the district. Not forgetting the walks themselves which are contained on individual cards at the back.

The individual walks are available for you to download direct, just click on the walk (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF logo  to view/and or print these files).
