Joint Action Group

The purpose of the Joint Action Group (JAG) will address crime and disorder issues that have been identified through the analysis of intelligence and statistical information provided by all partner agencies.

Meeting on a fortnightly basis, it will use the expertise that exists on the group, to identify desirable outcomes and determine what interventions will be used to achieve this.

JAGS will operate to decide priorities, agree action plans, allocate resources and ensure there is a co-ordinated response to issues highlighted at the JAG and contained within the Safer Wealden Partnership’s Community Safety plans.

The effectiveness of the JAG will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Safer Wealden Partnership. And the Safer Wealden Partnership will allocate a sum of money to the JAG to support its work
