Raising Awareness on Keeping Safe

The Safer Wealden Partnership (SWP) is very happy to promote with Sussex Police and other colleagues a Fun Safety Day.

This event is being held on Thursday 15th February, 11am until 1pm, in the Hailsham East Community Centre, Vega Close, Hailsham.

The aim of the day is to inform parents and their children of the key safety issues to do with the home and Wealden roads. The specific areas being covered are Road Safety, Home Safety and Fire Prevention.

Sussex Police have arranged for two Hailsham PCSO’s to be in attendance to offer advice together with Dave Smith, the Wealden Crime Prevention Officer, giving expert guidance on security devices, which will be available to buy on the day at a very reduced price.

This serious but fun event is free and open to all ages. Come along and support the Partnership and at the same time let your children enjoy the following activities/games:

Face Painting
Fireman Sam
Refreshments
