Thematic Action Groups Delivering the Strategy
These working groups exist to take a proactive role, by creating initiatives and solutions in the delivery of the priorities laid down in the Safer Wealden Partnership community safety plans.
Domestic Violence Action Group
Priority and Prolific Offenders, Anti- Social Behaviour and Prevent and Deter (including named anti-Social Behaviour cases).
Property Crime Action Group
Road Safety Action Group
Violent Crime and Disorder Strategic Group (to include alcohol and drugs and race and hate crime).
The Chair of the Action Group or a representative, appointed by the Chair will normally be required to attend the Quarterly meeting of the Safer Wealden Partnership to provide a briefing on action taken since the last meeting.
The Safer Wealden Partnership reserves the right to dissolve any thematic action group which is not performing in the way intended. The partnership may also create a new thematic action group, either on a task and finish basis or permanently, as it considers appropriate. This may occur following a change of priorities, in response to community needs or because of the need to respond to an emerging and new threat.
