Housing Support Services For Older People:
The Move Forward (Phase Two)
Eastbourne, Lewes, Rother, Hastings and Wealden councils are working with the Supporting People team at East Sussex County Council to consult about future housing support services for older people.
On Friday 26 June 2009 the first consultation event took place at Welshurst Golf Centre, Horam and it focussed on housing support services within Wealden.
The event was based on the theme of a consultation cafe and it was very well attended with a mixture of service users, voluntary sector representatives and statutory organisations.
We would like to encourage more people to feedback their views about housing support services for older people and you can do this in a number of ways:
- Attend another event in one of our neighbouring authorities (see link below for more details)
- Send a completed questionnaire to the Supporting People team
- Complete the questionnaire electronically and email it to the Supporting People team
Any questionnaires or comments should be sent in by Friday 31 August 2009.
