Unauthorised Encampments
Where there is an occupation of privately owned land, officers of the Council will visit the site and make initial enquiries. It is usually the landowner's responsibility to take action, although the Council will be happy to give advice.
If land owned by the Council is occupied, relevant action will be taken. An officer will visit the site as soon as is practicable.
