£25,200- £36,072 plus car
(career grade scheme with bar at £31,419)

If you do then we have an exciting opportunity to join the Occupational Health and Safety Unit of our Public Protection Unit. You will take the lead on all health and safety at work matters, including the inspection of businesses, investigation of incidents and complaints, and liaison with the HSE and other local authorities to promote partnership initiatives. You must have a BSc or equivalent qualification in Environmental Health and experience in enforcing health and safety at work. To be eligible for Senior status you must have at least three years post qualification experience and APD. However applications from EHOs with Health and Safety experience working towards their APD will be considered for this career grade post.
