A Review of the Wealden Local Plan

The Local Plan sets out the District Council's policies for the development and use of land.  It provides the basis for deciding planning applications, and identifies where new housing, business and other developments should be located and other areas where further development should be resisted.

The current adopted Wealden Local Plan covers the period up to 2004 and the Local Plan Review is required to address the needs for development up to 2011.
