Why Recycle
- Recycling will reduce the amount of rubbish that your school creates and can save you money. The amount that you pay for your landfill waste collection is based upon the size and quantity of the bins you have. If you recycle, you won't have so much rubbish and therefore will not need so many and such large capacity bins.
- The landfill sites near Lewes and Hastings within East Sussex are almost full. By recycling you are helping to reduce the amount of rubbish being sent to landfill, this in turn reduces the harmful gases which are produced by landfilling waste.
