What has changed?
Local Housing Allowance Review date
From April 2013, all Housing Benefit claims based on a Local Housing Allowance will be reviewed annually each April. If your rent changes please send us the details so that we can look at your claim again.
Local Housing Allowance Rates
From January 2013 the Local Housing Allowance rates will be set in April each year and will apply until the following April.
Maximum number of bedrooms
From April 2011, the maximum number of bedrooms that we can take into account when working out your LHA is 4.
