Market Towns Regeneration

Christmas 2018

Come and enjoy Christmas celebrations in your local town and village this year with many events taking place around the District. To make sure you don't miss out on the local festivities download the Christmas Events and Markets poster (pdf) and have a look.

Market Town Partnerships and what they do

Market Town Partnerships can play a key role in the regeneration of their towns and are made up of people from the public, private and voluntary sector.  In Wealden the towns of Hailsham, Heathfield and Pevensey have all set up Town Partnerships or Community Action Groups.

Local Markets

Wealden has a mixture of community and farmers markets taking place on a regular basis across the district. They are ideal locations to buy local fresh, quality and seasonal food and crafts including bread, cakes, vegetables, free-range meat, fish, dairy produce, plants, jams, arts and crafts and much more! Visit our Local Markets page for further details.
