To carry out House to House Collections for charitable purposes in Wealden you must apply to us for a Licence.

You must be a fit and proper person.

Tacit Consent
Tacit consent does apply to House to House Collections.
You will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from the Local Authority by the end of the target completion period. For Wealden District Council the target completion period for a House to House Collection is 21 calendar days from receipt of the application.

After the Collection
After a House to House Collection you must notify us of the result of your collection. Again you can do this in writing or online using the gov.uk website:
