£35,850 - £44,409 p.a plus car allowance

As the Assistant Team leader in one of our two Development Management teams, you will supervise and prepare reports on complex or major planning and other applications, agreements, enforcement matters and consultations. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will assist in the day to day supervision of the team and contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the development management function.

This position offers a challenge to an experienced planning officer with some experience of supervising staff and experience of Local Inquiries and Appeal Hearing procedures looking to take on more responsibility for mentoring and supporting the team. You will have a degree or Diploma in Town Planning, or related equivalent, and either have MRTPI or be working towards full membership, together with substantial Local Authority experience in Development Management work.
