The event runs from 10am to 1pm and among the attractions will be the vehicles from East Sussex Fire & Rescue and Sussex 4x4 Response as well as a children’s entertainer, badge-making, crafts and giant outdoor games.
Fun and Safety is one of a series of projects Wealden District Council organises with other partner organisations which focus on staying safe and keeping healthy.
“It’s a great opportunity for some helpful advice along with plenty of fun activities. Make it a date for your Easter holidays,” said Sophie Hepworth, Wealden Community and Regeneration Officer. “This year parents and carers will also have the opportunity to sign up for a free home fire safety check from East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service.”
Fun and Safety is free and open to all, but children aged under 10 years must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.  There is not parking on site at the Beacon Road fire station so please try to walk or use public transport.
There is some public car parking nearby.
