Wealden Works: for a brighter future

Wealden District Council are inviting everyone aged 25 or under to get free advice on their future career options at the Wealden Works Careers Fair, taking place at the East Sussex National Hotel in Uckfield (TN22 5ES) on Monday 2 October, 9:30am-3pm.

"With so many different careers or further education opportunities available, it’s an exciting time to be a young person in Wealden," said Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet Member for Economic Development. "The Wealden Works Careers Fair gives all young people from the District the chance to get some invaluable first hand advice and guidance to help them find the future direction that’s right for them."

Attending organisations include the Royal Air Force, AXA PPP Healthcare, Brighton Film School, Weald Technology and many more. With more than 40 exhibitors from the public sector, local, national and international companies, charities and further education providers there really is something for all interests. 

As well as careers advice, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service will be on hand to provide road safety demonstrations as part of their current campaign with Wealden District Council.
