Buxted Parish Council
Framfield Road, Buxted has an open recreation ground and a children's play area.
Chillies Lane, High Hurstwood has an open recreation ground and a children's play area.
Crowborough Town Council
Adams Field has a small recreation ground with a multi use games unit and children's play equipment.
There are football pitches in the residential Alderbrook area.
Goldsmiths recreation area has a children's play area, a skate park, a boating lake, football pitches, an athletics track, petanque and model railway.
The Ghyll at Jarvis Brook has an open recreation ground.
Limekiln Playing Fields are off Palesgate Lane.
There is a single football pitch on the MOD site on the A26.
Silver Jubilee play area off Green Lane has play equipment for younger children.
Wolfe recreation area has an open recreation ground, play equipment for all ages, three tennis courts, a bowls green and space for cricket and junior football.
East Dean Parish Council
Gilberts Drive has an open recreation ground which host the cricket club who play alternate weekends and occasional evenings. There is also a children's' play area, tennis court and mini football nets.
East Hoathly Parish Council
London Road has an open recreation ground that will soon have a children's play area.
Fletching Parish Council
There is an open recreation ground in Fletching.
Forest Row Parish Council
Forester's Green off Hartfield Road has a concrete skate ramp.
Rush Green off Hartfield Road has a children's play area.
Chapel Lane has an open recreation ground with pavilion.
Framfield Parish Council
The Street at Framfield has an open recreation ground.
Blackboys High Street has an open recreation ground.
Palehouse Common has an open recreation ground.
Frant Parish Council
The village green on the A267 has an open recreation ground and children's play area.
Hailsham Town Council
Carpenters Way has an open recreation ground and a children's play area.
Blacksmith Copse has a children's play area.
There is a recreation area at the bottom of North Street with a children's play area, an open recreation ground and cricket pavilion.
Battle Road has a children's play area.
The Diplocks has a children's play area and a ball park for basket ball.
Cameron Close has a children's play area.
Stroma Gardens has a children's play area.
Quinell Drive has a children's play area.
Battle Road has two open recreation grounds and a children's play area.
Butts Field has a children's play area.
Hadlow Down Parish Council
Hadlow Down has an open recreation ground with a rope swing, basketball net with associated flat area, a mountain bike track and a set of goal posts.
Hartfield Parish Council
The village play area has recently been refurbished with new play equipment including a climbing frame, swings, a wooden train, slide, climbing nets over a fallen tree and a gravity bowl.
Heathfield & Waldron Parish Council
There is a skate park at the south cutting to the Heathfield tunnel, Station Approach with ramps, half pipe etc...
Jubilee Park off Ghyll Road has a wildflower meadow with native trees
Leeves Common recreation area off Leeves Way/Leeves Close/Newnham Way has an open recreation ground with fixed goal mouth and basketball wall. There are also swings and a multi play area.
Tower recreation ground has two football pitches with a changing pavilion and a children's' play area with multi play units, swings and slides.
Sheepsetting Lane recreation area has a football pitch and a petanque rink.
Hardy Roberts recreation area off the A267 at Cross-In-Hand has a rugby pitch and training area, tennis courts, an outdoor bowling green and a children's play area with multi play units and swings.
Broad Oak recreation area adjacent the Broad Oak Village Hall off the A265 has a children's play area with a climbing frame and swings.
Cade Street Memorial Ground behind the Half Moon public house has a children's play area with climbing wall and multi play unit with swings.
Punnetts Town recreation area off the B2096 has an open recreation ground, football pitch and a children's play area with multi play unit, swings.
Waldron recreation area adjacent the Lucas Memorial Hall has an open recreation ground , children's play area, cricket pitch, rugby pitches and a pavilion.
All of the above public recreational facilities in the Heathfield and Waldron area are available at all times. However, formal pitches are used by clubs and may not available for informal play. Tennis courts and bowling green are operated by clubs and are available for use by members only.
Hellingly Parish Council
The Lower Dicker recreation area has an open recreation ground and children's play area and is home to the Hellingly Lions Cycle speedway club.
The Lower Horsebridge recreation area has an open recreation ground for bowls, rugby and cricket. There is also a newly refurbished children's play area.
Herstmonceux Parish Council
There is a recreation ground with a skate park, a children's play area, a bowling green and one tennis court. The ground is marked out for cricket. Stool ball is played here twice a week.
In the village there is also a marked football pitch.
Hooe Parish Council
Hooe has an open recreation ground with a football pitch and fixed goalpost on the corner of Straight Lane and Sawpits. It is available all the time for general individual recreation use, but would need to be booked for more formal/organised events or groups.
Horam Parish Council
Horam has an open recreation ground with football nets, a skate park and a children's play area.
Isfield Parish Council
There is an open recreation ground with a pavilion used by the local football and cricket teams and a children's play area with swings, slides and frames.
Ninfield Parish Council
There is a recreation ground in the middle of the village at the corner of Bexhill Road and Church Lane with a cricket pitch, enough room for a football game, a fixed "sports wall" (for football and basketball). There is a pavilion/changing area available for hire. There is also a fenced play area containing swings etc for smaller children.
It is available all the time for general use, but would need to be booked for more formal/organised events or groups.
Pevensey Parish Council
Coast Road recreation area has an open recreation ground and a children's play area with play equipment and a five-a-side football post.
Wallsend Road has a recreation ground with a sports pavilion for football and cricket.
Polegate Town Council
Wannock Road recreation area has an open recreation ground for football, cricket and stool ball. There is also a children's play area here with slides, roundabouts and swings.
Oakleaf Drive also has a well equipped children's play area.
Uckfield Town Council
Luxford Field off the High Street has an open recreation ground and a children's play area with multi play units, spring horse, seesaw, roundabout, swings, and a tractor slide.
Hempstead Lane has an open recreation ground and a children's play area with multi play units, swings and a bank slide. The field also has goals.
Oakwood Drive play area has multi play units, a spring seesaw and swings.
Hughes Way play area has multi play units, a roundabout and swings.
Downland Copse off The Drive has a basket ball court.
Rocks Park play area off Streatfield Road has multi play units and separate toddler multi play, a roundabout, a spring chicken and swings. This play area can also be accessed by walking across the West Park recreation ground off Markland Way, which has a football pitch, 2 half size football pitches and a sports pavilion.
Ridgewood has an open recreation ground off New Road with an artificial cricket wicket. There is also a children's play area here with multi play units, a roundabout and swings and a football pitch at Harlands Farm.
Victoria Pleasure Ground off Old Timbers Lane has a football pitch, a grass cricket table, an artificial cricket wicket, a hard play area, 2 tennis courts and a sports pavilion. There is also a children's play area with roundabout, spring elephant, spring fire engine, multi play units with separate toddler multi play and swings.
There is also a skate park/BMX track between Victoria Pleasure Ground and New Barn Farm.
Wadhurst Parish Council
Sparrows recreation area off South View has a children's play area, football pitches and a tarmac area for youth play, gates are locked at 6pm.
Westham Parish Council
Adur Park off Adur Drive, Stone cross has an open recreation ground and a basket ball court.
Butchers' Field, Westham has an open space and wildflower meadow for people to walk in.
Cherwell Close, Stone Cross has a small children's play area.
Hamble Road, Stone Cross has a small children's play area.
Castle Bolton, Westham has a small children's play area.
