A must-do event for local businesses

Media Release : 13 April 2010

Business Expo 2010 is offering six free seminars to local business people, delivered by experts from commerce and industry.

This one day event is taking place on Wednesday 28 April from 10am to 5pm at the East Sussex National Golf Course and Hotel, Little Horsted, Uckfield. TN22 5ES.

Organised jointly by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Wealden District Council, Expo 2010 is a result of the commitment to help small and medium-sized enterprises outlined in a business accord signed between the Council and the FSB.

The event gives businesses and exhibitors the opportunity to meet face-to-face to discuss the hottest products, innovative ideas and new services.  It also highlights the work of the East Sussex FSB, which now has around 5,000 members.

Ken Stevens, regional organiser for the East Sussex Federation of Small Business (FSB), is confident that the event will be good for business:

"If you are interested in obtaining fresh ideas and meeting other businesses, the Expo is the place to be," he said.
