Planning document

From 16 January to 24 February 2012 Wealden District Council will be consulting on the document Strategic Sites Development Plan Document Issues and Options Consultation Paper.Any comments received after 5pm on Friday 24 February 2012 cannot be accepted.

The Strategic Sites Development Plan Document (DPD) is the second DPD within the Council's Local Development Framework and will set out in detail how the Strategic Development Areas proposed in the Core Strategy should be developed.

This is the first stage of public consultation on this document and we would like to take your views into account in producing the Strategic Sites DPD. In order to do this we are presenting information about the possible options for development within each Strategic Development Area. In addition to the various options presented, you may wish to put forward your own ideas on options for us to consider.

The Strategic Sites Issues and Options Consultation Paper, its supporting Background Papers and a list of venues where you can view these documents, are available on the Strategic Sites DPD web page and at a number of locations across the District.

Find out more about the consultation, when public exhibitions are taking place, how to view the documents and make your comments, on the Strategic Sites Consultation page.
