HOUSING COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Salary range £29,148 to £32,046
37 hours per week
Plus lease car or cash allowance
based in Hailsham
We are seeking an officer with a broad experience in property and construction related health and safety. You will be responsible for advising, guiding, supporting and ensuring compliance within the Housing Service on all aspects of Health and Safety particularly in the areas of fire and gas safety, CDM, asbestos and legionella in relation to the Housing stock.
Working within the Property Services Team, you will be responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of housing health and safety policies, systems and procedures. Providing expert professional advice to managers and staff within the service.
You’ll have a NEBOSH Diploma, ideally with a NEBOSH certificate in Construction Health and Safety, together with demonstrable experience in building, construction, civil engineering. It’s essential that you are computer literate, with strong project management skills and are able to communicate with others in a clear and informative way.
