LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 Notice under Section 123(2A) of the intended Disposal of an Open Space at Maurice Thornton Recreation ground (by way of an easement for a HV Cable).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 123(2A) of the above mentioned Act that Wealden District Council the owner of the parcel of land described below intends to dispose of land at Maurice Thornton Recreation Grounds by granting a freehold easement for an HV Electric Cable. The easement will have no effect on public use of the open space, except for temporary restrictions over the trench for installation, occasional repairs and maintenance.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND
The land is located at Maurice Thornton Recreation Ground, Hailsham. For identification purposes is edged red on the plan.
A plan of the land is available for inspection at Wealden District Council, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2AX.
Objections to the above proposed disposal must be made in writing Julie Martin,
