LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 Notice under Section 123(2A) of the intended Disposal of an Open Space which is a Village Green in the district of Wealden, East Sussex.

Dated: 23rd December 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 23(2A) of the above mentioned Act that Wealden District Council the owner of the parcel of land described below which is held and maintained as a Village Green. Wealden District Council will dispose of the land to Hailsham Town Council (subject to final agreement from HTC). Hailsham Town Council will keep, use and maintain the said land for the purpose of a Village Green.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND

The land is located East of Ersham Road. For identification purposes is edged red on the plan.

A plan of the land is available for inspection at Wealden District Council, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2AX.

Objections to the above proposed disposal must be made in writing Julie Martin,

Estates Management Officer, Wealden District Council, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2AX. Julie.martin@wealden.gov.uk by no later than 6th January 2023.
