How To Apply

To apply to rent retirement living you must meet our eligibility criteria:

  • Must be aged over 60 or have a physical disability.
  • Must be capable of living independently – ‘Independent Living’ means that on a daily basis you are capable of managing your own financial affairs, day-to-day living needs and are sufficiently mobile to live independently within the property. That you can evacuate the building in the event of a fire, and you are able to use the communal areas and join in the activities and events on offer. We may seek confirmation of your medical status from your GP or ask that you meet with our Housing Solutions Officer as part of our standard application process.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who express an interest in making full use of the facilities and social activities provided at our retirement living complexes.

Apply to Rent 

To apply for leasehold retirement living you must meet our eligibility criteria:Must be aged over 60 or have a physical disability.

  • Must be capable of living independently – ‘Independent Living’ means living in a purpose built development, that on a daily basis you are capable of maintaining the property; managing your own financial affairs, day-to-day living needs and are sufficiently mobile to live independently within the property and can evacuate the building unassisted in the event of a fire, ale to use communal areas and joining in the activities and events on offer without assistance. We may seek confirmation of your medical status from your GP or ask that you meet with our Housing Solutions Officer as part of our standard application process.
  • Must be in a financial position to afford to buy and also to pay for the running cost of a retirement living home. We will ask for details of your income and expenditure on the Application Form.
  • If you have a property to sell in order to finance the purchase of your new home we will ask for proof that the property is currently on the market for sale or a purchaser has been found.
