Are you an enthusiastic and flexible team player who is highly organised and competant in a range of PA duties?
Who?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly competent PA to provide full PA support to the Chief Executive, Director of Legal, Governance and Strategic Projects and to the Leader of the Council.
What will you be doing?
You will work in close conjunction with other Personal Assistants to set and adhere to quality standards and will provide mutual cover, as required.
The role is diverse and will include research activities, diary management, report writing and preparing presentations, as well as project management support and involvement with elections and emergency planning activities.
What do you need?
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable previous experience, working in a similar role at this level, and ideally within a local authority or other public sector organisation.
You will need to be highly organised with a broad range of IT skills and be able to work autonomously.
You will need to demonstrate a high degree of interpersonal skills and demonstrate political awareness and discretion and be experienced in conducting research and preparing briefings/articles with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
There will be an occasional requirement for working outside normal office hours and travel around the Wealden District, using your own transport.
