Who?
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and well-organised individual to provide high-level PA support under a job-share arrangement to two Heads of Service, covering the following services, Legal & Governance, People & OD, Elections & Emergency Planning and to include all aspects of administrative duties.
What will you be doing?
You will need to work efficiently and accurately to help ensure the smooth running of the service area. Duties will include acting as the single point of contact for the Heads of Service, conveying messages etc., the co-ordination of diaries and appointments, drafting correspondence, collating information, taking notes at meetings and undertaking research as required.
What do you need?
Applicants must have good interpersonal skills, liaising with visitors and other contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Applicants must also hold considerable secretarial experience, and possess proficient Microsoft Office IT skills, including advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint in addition to email handling and use of electronic diaries and Internet.
Experience working within a public sector environment and/or a recognised secretarial qualification are desirable.
