We now have a vacancy in our Planning Policy team for a Planning Monitoring Officer to assist with providing technical information in relation to the monitoring of and production of Local Plans, Supplementary Planning Documents and other associated projects, including CIL, neighbourhood plans, infrastructure and economic development.
As Planning Monitoring Officer you will be responsible for analysing data and producing reports, including the Council’s Authority Monitoring Report (AMR) and monitoring the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) payments. You will analyse data, including quantitative and spatial analysis where appropriate, presenting key findings as required and liaise with colleagues, developers and planning agents to input into the Council’s housing trajectory and Five Year Housing Land Supply Position.
This post requires a relevant degree/diploma together with relevant planning policy experience in a Local Authority or Consultancy background. You will enjoy data analysis and research and be able to devise methodologies, collate and analyse data to progress policy and development solutions.
