Contract Type: Fixed Term (18 months), Part Time

Hours: 22 per week

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex but mainly home working at present due to Covid-19 restrictions

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised Senior Human Resources Officer to work in our busy Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing, maintaining and developing a generic Human Resource service for the Council across a number of allocated service areas. You will also be required to take a lead role on allocated HR Projects and policy and process development, to improve efficiency of the service and support the Drive to Digital agenda within the HR service area.

The ideal candidate will need to have a broad range of previous HR experience, working at a similar level, and ideally within a similar office environment. You will need to be Level 5 CIPD qualified, and have experience and knowledge of HRIS, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
