Council meetings and event cancellations

It is with regret that the following Council meetings and events are cancelled or postponed until further notice due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak:
Wealden Committee Meetings:
All council committee meetings and Cabinet meetings will be taking place remotely until further notice and details will be published on the relevant meeting pages.
Public Events:
- WDC Summer Activity Days (various locations) – all 2020 Summer Activity Days in the district have been cancelled. Details of locations.
- The Great British Spring Clean (various locations) – Keep Britain Tidy have postponed this year’s Great British Spring Clean until September 11 – 27. We will be asking that instead of cancelling your clean-ups, you look to reschedule for the new campaign period.
- Universal Credit Outreach, WDC Offices, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham – suspended until further notice.
- Wealden Dementia Action Alliance – a number of events have been cancelled or postponed. Including: Movies Make Memories, Crowborough Cafe; Saturday Socials; Heathfield Film Screening; Five Ash Down Cafe; Memory Moments in Wadhurst. For more details of events affected, visit the WDAA Facebook Page
- Wealden Dementia Action Alliance Forums – postponed until further notice.
- Big Wealden Switch – all public events are cancelled but you can still register online for the energy cost saving scheme or telephone 01323 443313. Please make sure you have a recent fuel bill to hand.

The following events involving road closures have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 virus:
