Wealden Bus Alliance is an informal body created by the Council which is committed to promoting and encouraging the greater use of sustainable public transport, throughout the Wealden area and its environs. 
To develop integrated public transport is vital for creating growth and prosperity in our towns and rural areas. The Bus Alliance intends to help to create a climate of confidence encouraging infrastructure improvements, vehicle investment programs, greater use of new technologies for timetable information, smart ticketing and a range of wider options to encourage greener travel for residents and visitors.
The Bus Alliance members are drawn from the bus operators, passenger user groups, the County Council, town and parish councils and any businesses that may be able to impact on the Alliance.
Local residents who would like to have their say about these aims, are encouraged to join the East Sussex Bus User Group.
