Thank You Day
Find out about Thank You Day 2021 on Sunday 4 July and what the Council is doing to say Thank You to its communities.
“I really want to say a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to the people of Wealden. To everyone that has supported neighbours, friends, family and colleagues throughout the Covid crisis.
The last year has tested us all. It has always been our priority to keep the people of Wealden safe, to support our most vulnerable and to ensure that we continue to deliver the essential services that you need. As a Council, we simply could not have achieved this without the help and support of our residents, communities and colleagues.
It is important you know how much these efforts have been recognised and appreciated. From the very beginning, our collective response to the coronavirus pandemic is something we as a district can be very proud of. You have reminded us that when it really matters, we are here for one another and that is something we are truly grateful for.
We have been truly inspired by your personal commitment to making a difference in these unprecedented and challenging times. We could not have done it without you.
We have created a set of bespoke posters in recognition of those people and groups in our community who deserve our thanks.
