Regulation 18 Draft Local Plan Consultation 15 March 2024 – 10 May 2024
The most recent stage of the emerging Local Plan (known as Regulation 18 stage) sets out the Council’s draft policies and proposed growth strategy and was an important stage in the plan-making process. It provided an early opportunity for our communities, businesses, landowners, developers, partners, and stakeholders to ‘have a say’ and comment on the draft Local Plan before it was considered further. The draft Local Plan was subject to consultation between the 15 March 2024 and the 10 May 2024.

The Council has summarised the representations made through the draft Wealden Local Plan (Regulation 18) consultation process and has published a Summary of Main Issues to the Draft Regulation 18 Local Plan that can be found at:
Our Virtual Exhibition is still available for this consultation and includes all of the information that was available both online and at the nine drop-in consultation events that were held throughout the district.
