Hackhurst Lane Industrial Estate

  • Address Hackhurst Lane Industrial Estate, Lower Dicker, BN27 4BW

  • Area Lower Dicker

  • Number of units 23

  • Type of Buildings Mix of buildings from 1960's

  • Details Hackhurst Lane is situated to the north of the A22, approximately 1 mile to the west of its junction with the A267 and A271. The estate has vehicular access currently gained off the A22 via Hackhurst Lane, a private road fronted by residential properties at its southern end, which is not ideal for lorry access. There are bus routes running along the A22 and the site is located approximately 3 miles to the north west of Hailsham town centre.

  • Additional Information Hackhurst Lane Business Area is a long established concentration of industrial/commercial activities with a significant employment role in relation to Hailsham. It is viewed as serving the wider South Wealden area particularly for B2 and B8 industries that may choose not to locate on a town business park in view of the nature of their use or rent levels. The area therefore provides an alternative which complements the Hailsham town business parks.
