Consultation and Community Engagement Diary The Wealden Consultation and Community Engagement Diary tracks the Councils engagement activity and helps you to find out more about a wide variety of activities that Wealden is planning or which you are able to have your say on now. It also stores consultation and engagement events from 2009 onwards, so that you can see the results and what suggested improvements we have been able to introduce. If you are looking exclusively for consultation results, use the search page in the Consultation Diary and in the ‘status’ box, select ‘closed (results available)’. If you wish to take part in a survey,use the ‘status’ box to search for all ‘open’ consultations. Community Engagement in Wealden Community engagement encompasses a wide variety of activities ranging from information giving, to consulting, involving, collaborating and empowering. Through community engagement activities, Wealden District Council will enable people to put forward ideas, options and opinions to help shape decisions about local service priorities and improvements. The Wealden District Council Community Engagement Strategy includes a set of principles to help guide the way in which we undertake engagement activities and identifies key objectives to help direct and further improve our engagement practices.
