The Council consulted on an update to the Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) from 4pm on Friday 4 July 2025 for an 8-week period to 4pm on Friday 29 August 2025. The SCI outlines how the Council will consult and engage with stakeholders and the general public when we are developing and reviewing planning policy documents and determining planning applications. It also provides information as to how the Council will work with our partners and communities to facilitate proposals for neighbourhood plans or orders.

- Equality Impact Assessment of the SCI – November 2025
The Council considered all comments received during the consultation and amended the document accordingly. The final SCI was presented to Full Council, which has adopted the new SCI.
