Wealden Local Plan Viability Assessment and CIL Review (2026)
Wealden District Council commissioned BNP Paribas Real Estate to undertake a Wealden Local Plan Viability Assessment and CIL review in support of its ‘Focused’ draft Wealden Local Plan (February 2026), which assesses the proposed policies in that Plan and the previous draft Wealden Local Plan (March 2024) where not superseded. In short, the study assesses the proposed policies within those two draft plans and considers the amount of affordable housing likely to be viable over the Plan period to 2042. It also considers whether the current adopted CIL charging schedule is viable with respect to the emerging Wealden Local Plan. This study (and appendices) can be downloaded below:
