Publication of Verification Number

Five per cent of the number of local government electors shown in the electoral register for this authority’s area as of 15 February 2020 is 6259 electors.  This number shall be used for verification purposes in relation to any petition presented to the authority in the period of 12 months beginning on 1 April 2020.

Publication of Revised Register 2 March 2020

A revised version of the Register of Electors for the District of Wealden will be re-published on 2 March 2020. The revised register will change all elector numbers which were not renumbered due to the imminence of the Parliamentary Election on 12 December 2019.

Election Maps (external website)

This service (run by the Ordnance Survey) superimposes electoral boundaries of any kind – Parliamentary Constituencies, County Council Divisions, District Wards or Parish Boundaries – onto Ordnance Survey maps.  To get to the Wealden area enter ‘Wealden’ into the search box and select ‘Local Authority’ from the radio buttons underneath then click ‘Go’.  Click on ‘Wealden District’ when it appears under search results.  To superimpose boundaries once you’ve found the area you need click on the ‘Show Layers’ tab and select the boundary you want to see.
