What you can expect
Once we have received your request the Pest Control Officer will contact you as soon as he can. He will discuss your requirements and advise on the best course of action. You may be asked to do some work before treatment begins, for example not feeding the birds or any other wildlife.
The Officer will make an appointment with you to conduct the treatment. We prefer that you are present at the treatment but it is not always necessary. Safety literature will be left so you know what products have been used and where they are located. Other than insects most pest treatments will need two visits. When the treatment is over we will collect any equipment and unused product.
We do not provide a service for removing bees, however local beekeepers are often willing to collect a swarm. Please see our Advice on bees – Wealden District Council page for more information.
