Youth Worker – Make a Difference in Young People’s Lives!

Are you passionate about empowering young people and making a positive impact in your community? We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Youth Worker to join our team and help support, guide, and inspire young people to reach their full potential.

 

We have 2 Youth Worker roles available:

Position 1: Monday afternoon and evening, 3pm – 5.30pm, 6 – 8.45 Tuesday afternoon 3pm – 5.30pm

Position 2: Tuesday and Friday afternoons 3pm – 5.30pm

 

Location: Hailsham and Hellingly
Salary: JNC Pay Sale: 5-7 (£24,786  – £25,411 p/a) Pro Rata for part time hours
Closing Date: 4pm 9^th June 2025

Hailsham Youth Service is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for young people. We work across a range of services including youth clubs, outreach programs, and mentoring schemes, ensuring young people have access to the opportunities and support they need to thrive.

 

The Role:

As a Youth Worker, you will work closely with young people aged 10 – 21 to deliver a range of activities and interventions that promote personal development, positive mental health, and social skills. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong, supportive relationships with young people, encouraging them to engage in activities, make informed choices, and achieve their goals.
