  • Black Rubbish Bin: Collected the following week.
  • Brown Garden Waste Bin: (Chargeable service) Collected fortnightly but may be on a different day from your other collections.

What goes in each bin

Green Recycling Bin: Glass bottles and jars, cardboard, paper, food/drinks cans, foil, aerosols, plastic bottles, plastic pots (no plant pots), tubs and trays, plastic film and bags (no black bags & plastic polystyrene trays). Black Rubbish Bin: General household waste that cannot be recycled. Brown Garden Waste Bin: Grass cuttings, leaves, hedge trimmings, small branches, flowers, and weeds. Crew Safety

Biffa employees and waste operators across the country continue to face the threat of reckless drivers. Biffa is committed to working with Wealden District Council to raise awareness of the social unacceptability of driving recklessly on pavements to help protect the safety of our crews and the public and have produced a short video showing the dangers faced by collection crews whilst going about their work.
